D -7 ..........has arrived with little fan fair. Just returned from watching Rex "Boo Daddy" Chapman blow em by Rockies batters like it's cool. Definitely bummed I'll miss the playoff tourney next week, but football is right around the corner.
For some reason I feel under prepared for this little trek. Hopefully it is because I have been reading, researching, prepping, and packing for so long that maybe it's just time to git'er done. Rapped with Winston the other night and he sounds ready to roll. Might be over thinking things a bit, always remember; "Thinking kills the team", one of my all time favorite quotes. For this trip, when all else fails, I'm going back to the Backstory and Plan, good looks, fist full Rupees and our spirit of adventure. I'm only three pages into this thing and have already delivered on two of the promises.

Yep, Ghandi rolled by tonight and dropped a little cash off to get us into the country, make a cabbie's night taking us to our hotel, and whatever incidentals we run into the first few hours in the promised land. Thanks to "Toona" for hooking me up. For everyone else, if you have an account at Wells Fargo or a friend with an account there, they can get you whatever Funny Money you are looking for. Branch just needs to have a international teller. Takes 4-5 business days and the exchange rate isn't bad.....way better than say the TravelEx or whatever they call those rip joints in the airport.
Hopefully my promise of "spirit of adventure" will take longer to accomplish...........
