Road to Dehli

......as I eluded to earlier, the idea for this little trip has been in the cooker since last June when I headed north into the Yukon and North West Territories for a little jaunt to Inuvik up the always entertaining Dempster Highway.  I would like to take full credit for the idea of this endeavor, however,  I'll hand it over to ADVrider and and the inspirational ride reports of Radioman, SgtMike and the litany of  others about India.  I would also like to personally thank Former Vice President Al Gore, for without his invention of the internet, my research, acquisition of supplies, gear and logistical planning, would not be possible. 

Gear

Surely not an all inclusive list, but gotta keep the weight down around 45 pounds.  We will be dealing with temperatures ranging  from 110F in Dehli and lower valleys to 30F in the passes with snow, river crossings, and mud.  Over to Winston on what those temps equate to in degrees C.  We plan on augmenting our wardrobe and gear with some local styles as we move through the different regions.  Winston's a Giant Loop bag guy, so you'll be able to catch a glimpse of that stuff later in the madness.  Here's the kit.....
